Handog Titulo in Puerto Princesa
02/08/2009 Department of Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Lito Atienza (in tropical shirt) congratulates one of 102 awardees of free patents during the launch of Regional People’s Hour at the City Coliseum in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan over the weekend. The free patent distribution is part of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s program to improve the socio-economic condition of the rural population by providing them security of tenure over the lands they till. Witnessing the distribution of free patents to his constituents is Puerto Princesa City Mayor Edward Hagedorn (left). Assisting Atienza is DENR Undersecretary Eleazar Quinto.  Back to top
