Isuzu and Freego: Best partners for Isuzu Challenge 2010

06/26/2010

Drive in style and ride in fashion, it is a perfect match.

Put two perfect partners together and the right mix always brings about exciting challenges.

This is what two Philippine fashionable and respected brand partners did for this year’s most exciting promotional activity — The Isuzu Challenge.

Isuzu, the world’s trusted name in diesel engine technology, partnered with Freego Jeans, the country’s leading apparel brand, for the 2010 Isuzu Challenge which puts to the test three of Isuzu’s most popular vehicles — N*Series, Crosswind and D-Max.

“We are happy to be part of this campaign as Freego, much like Isuzu, prides itself in being a brand that is known for its commitment to its customers,” said Alpha Allanigui, Freego’s Marketing Services manager.

Myrna Gonzales, Isuzu Philippines Corp.’s Assistant Division Manager for Sales, added, “We see this as a truly great partnership as both Isuzu and Freego share a lot of brand ideals. Both are proudly locally- made, durable, hardworking yet trendy and fashionable. Isuzu and Freego both offer value for money.”

Isuzu Challenge serves as the flagship project under Isuzu’s umbrella campaign this year, Isuzu Diesel Mission (IDM). Isuzu Challenge, which falls under IDM’s Farthest Mission and is now on its eighth year, has been made more exciting with an interactive twist.

“This time,” Gonzales revealed, “we’re taking it a notch higher by making it interactive.”

The general public can now join in on the fun by guessing how far a full tank of diesel fuel can take our featured Isuzu vehicle as it traverses a specially designed North Luzon route. The winner stands to take home the same model of the featured vehicle. And of course, Freego products.”

Those interested must log on to www.isuzudieselmission.com.ph. There are two more legs to do to the Isuzu Challenge: Crosswind, from April 1 to July 13; and D-Max, Aug. 1 to Oct. 19.

It’s as easy as driving a Crosswind and D-Max, and fits to a T Freego jeans!

So start revving it up with the Isuzu Challenge 2010!
