An enjoyable ‘everyday, all-around’ vehicle: The Nissan Grand Livina
01/13/2009 Steady and comfortable even at 200 km/hr, you can go on and on and on with the Nissan Grand Livina. Designed for long journeys — whether out-of-town or for bumper-to-bumper traffic situations in Metro Manila, the all new MR-18 engine, all aluminum engine block, CVTC or continuously variable valve timing control, drive by wire technology, EPS or electric power steering, ripple shock absorbers and 6 speed manual transmission contribute to an economical multi-purpose vehicle. Handling is good with the vehicle’s low center of gravity and long wheel base. The passenger doors can open wide enough for effortless entry and exit for occupants. The seats are firm but comfortable — just right for 6 to 7 passengers as long as the rows are positioned to give enough leg room for all occupants. Even with just a front air-conditioning system, rear occupants will find the cabin pleasantly cool, if not very cold as is typical of Nissan vehicles. Cup and bottle holders and compartments are generously laid out on doors, center console box and dashboard. The second and third row seats may be adjusted to cargo mode, perfect for loading those shopping bags, grocery bags, school bags or luggage. For an everyday, all-around vehicle, the economical and comfortable Nissan Grand Livina 1.8 liter is the right choice. Back to top
