The Jim Carrey movie “Yes Man” was indeed memorable not only for Carrey’s antics in accepting everything life has to offer, but also introduced us to a novel way to get fit and healthy: Fitness through photography, wherein Zooey Deschanel’s character leads a pack of fitness buffs to roam around interesting places and “shoot their way” to health. This is what inspired Asian Hospital and Medical Center to conduct a seminar aimed at achieving a fit and healthy body through taking pictures. “Fitness through Photography” is slated on Jan. 28, today, from 2 p.m. to 5 pm., to be held at the Patio on the Lower Ground Floor of Asian Hospital. The seminar aims to educate participants on the basics and essentials of photography and techniques on how to use this creative tool to get fit and healthy body. The seminar will be facilitated by award-winning lensman, Raul Montifar, a third-time awardee of the Master Photographer Award from the Camera Club of the Philippines. Bring your digicams or even your old instamatics for this simple, fun and creative way to get healthy.
