Philconstruct 2009: The total construction industry event

Philconstruct 2009, 19th Philippine Construction, Equipment and Building Materials Exhibition and Technology Forum, will be held from Nov. 12 to 15 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex. To be held simultaneously are key activities such as the Technology forum, Estilo de Vida Interschool Interior Design Competition and the PCA Grand Convention. To spice up the event the Pacquiao-Cotto fight will be shown live during the exhibit. Philconstruct has proven to be the biggest and most important event for the construction industry. We are expecting thousand trade buyers and industry professionals such as architects, engineers, managers, contractors, spec writers, and end-users to come,” said Augusto “Tito” Manalo, chairman of Philconstruct 2009 and 1st vice president of the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA). Philconstruct is the meeting place for over 60,000 international and local trade buyers and over 1,000 exhibitors, making it the biggest and best exhibition and conference in the last 19 years. Shown hours are Nov. 12 (1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.), Nov. 13 and 14 (10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Nov. 15 (10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.). The exhibit is co-presented by Samsung and sponsored by Bing Dian, Boysen Philippines Inc., Carrier Philippines, Davies Paints Philippines Inc., Home Depot, Hyundai, Lafarge Cement Services, Trane Philippines, Boral Plasterboard Philippines Inc., Chase Technologies Corp., The Brain Audiovisual Co., Focalcast Network, Foton Motor Philippines, Komatsu, World of Concrete, Qishu Heavy Equipment Corp., Monark Equipment Corp., Versaflex, EVI Distribution Inc., Sling Shot Effects System Inc., TV Style Video. The show will incorporate several dynamic events such as HVAC/R Philippines ’09 – 12th International Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Refrigerating, Pumps and Valves Filtration and Purification Technology Exhibition; Interior World Expo ’09 – 4th International Exhibition of Equipment, Machinery, Tools, Technology and Support Services for the Mining Industry.
