Pink October celebration
10/23/2009 Rep. Cynthia Villar, president of the Lady Legislators of the 14th Congress, takes the lead during the distribution of gifts to breast cancer patients at East Avenue Medical Center in celebration of the Pink October or the Breast Cancer Awareness month. The lady legislators in partnership with the Philippine Foundation for Breast Care Inc. (PFBCI) aims to increase breast cancer awareness to promote early detection and eventually decrease the suffering of these women who are at risk. Joining Villar in this visit and during the gift-giving are actor Philip Salvador, actress Glenda Garcia and Rep. Beng Climaco of Zamboanga City.  Back to top
