Dance studio for poor, deserving Manileños

Department of Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Lito Atienza leads the inauguration last Feb. 11 of the Manila Dance and Cultural Arts Foundation Studio at the Don Bosco parish in Tondo, Manila. Atienza said the use of the facility is free, including the dance training of poor and deserving young Manileños. Assisting Atienza in the ribbon cutting is his wife Beng (center) and Barangay Magsaysay chairman Edgar Solis. Highlighting the event is a Valentine presentation by the Hiyas ng Pilipinas Choir and Dance Co. (lower photo).
