St. Luke’s Medical Center celebrates 106 years
10/23/2009 St. Luke’s Medical Center, the country’s leading medical center, celebrates its 106th anniversary this month with a week-long schedule of activities starting Oct. 19. With the theme “Culture change towards quality and patient safety,” the celebration kicked off with a flag raising ceremony on Monday. The Quality and Patient Safety Symposium took place Oct. 22 at 1 p.m., and at 7 p.m. Doctor’s Night was celebrated at the Manila Peninsula. The Doctors’ Night not only honored St. Luke’s top 100 doctors, but also recognized practitioners and specialists who have given prestige to the hospital by speaking in international conferences. The celebration will culminate with a family day and bingo social on Saturday, Oct. 24, for all St. Luke’s Medical Center associates.  Back to top
