Walk for the rainforests!
03/20/2009 Haribon Foundation, the environment conservation organization, in partnership with ELRO Corporation, the exclusive distributors of Ipanema flip-flops, takes a green stride with the launch of the Ipanema Seeds Collection designed by famed Brazilian fashion icon Gisele Bundchen and a walkathon to benefit the Philippine Rainforests called “Walk the Green Mile.” On March 21, tomorrow, 5 p.m. at The Fort (in front of Le Souffle Restaurant), Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, join in an effort for a greener, cleaner world. The event is part of Haribon’s awareness campaign called “ROAD to 2020” (“Rainforestation” Organizations and Advocates) in partnership with ELRO Corp. You too can play an active role in this campaign. For every purchase of the Ipanema sandals from the Gisele Bundchen Seeds Collection, a donation will be made to the Haribon Foundation, which aims to conserve and protect the Philippine rainforests by increasing the number of seeds planted in each year. The first 500 participants will receive a limited edition Ipanema GB Seeds baller ID. The first 100 participants get a free “Walk the Green Mile” shirt, while the first 50 participants get a free Ipanema GB Seeds of their choice! Purchase Ipanema GB Seeds slippers at the Ipanema Booth set up at the venue get 10 percent off the purchase price, a free bag and a chance to win a pair of Ipanema GB Seeds signed by Gisele Bundchen!
