Moet Hennessy’s new breed It was an evening of fine spirits and sumptuous cocktails at The Continental in Tower Club recently as Moet Hennessy created an intimate gathering of cognac connoisseurs. Moet Hennessy Business Development manager Randy Uson and chief representative Olga Azarcon started the joyous occasion by tweaking boundaries, introducing Hennessy Shanghai cocktails. New innovations of the Hennessy X.O were likewise unveiled starting off with the new look of the Hennessy X.O with its darker and bolder appearance with its plum colored packaging. Innovations, however, went beyond the original X.O as the new Hennessy X.O Magnificence and Hennessy X.O Mathusalem were introduced. Hennessy X.O Magnificence’s decanter is eincrusted with golden crystals, which appeals very much to those who appreciate objets d’ art. Hennessy Mathusalem, on the other hand, is the Hennessy X.O in a 6-liter decanter complete with its own limited edition lambskin case. Master of Ceremonies Johnny Litton let the unique and sophisticated aroma of the 30-year-old cognac delight the carefully selected guests of the evening: Robina Gokongwei, Susie and Paquie Ortigas and Marivic Vasquez, who won the first Hennessy XO Magnificence in the Philippines. Towards the end of the night, Hennessy Paradis was served with its elegant silky texture and waves upon waves of flavors that totally enchanted the guests. Hennessy is the name that made cognac famous worldwide. Aside from being number one in the globe, it also dominates the individual markets it serves, including the Philippines. Being one of the most storied brands in the market, Hennessy started its long and colorful history in the 1700s and continues to be the biggest name in cognac. The makers of the original X.O, Hennessy has grown in its offering to more sophisticated tastes. Whether you have been a follower of cognac or starting to appreciate its rich and powerful characters, you will never go wrong with a name that withstood eight generations of careful control over the finest cognac collection: Hennessy! A radiant exhibition FURNitalia, led under the helm of hardworking managing director Florence Ko, has blossomed into the country’s sole purveyor of upscale furnishing brands from Italy. The dynamic glass edifice at the Fort was illuminated with friendly smiles and breathtaking elegance as they recently launched the new collection of Fontana Arte, the world’s pioneer in technical and decorative lighting. The carefully selected guests of the night were all ears as the young and vibrant, world-famous designer, Architect Marco Acerbis, talked about design onstage with the beautiful TV host Daphne Oseña and the irreverent Johnny Litton. No less than Fontana Arte’s industrious president Carlo Guglielmi, sales manager Maurizio Serra and Asia Pacific managing director Paolo Ravelli flew all the way from Italy to support the exclusive gathering and discuss the intricacies of the Fontana Arte system. Florence Kotoured the luminaries of the evening through the massive and exquisite showroom, which was solely illuminated by Fontana Arte’s unique and beautiful designs. Ever gracious, Florence gave away Fontana Arte lighting fixtures to the lucky guests of the night. FURNitalia’s elegance with Fontana Arte’s genius is a combination like no other. Congratulations for the successful launch! Back to top
