Traders Hotel, Manila launches in-room digital innovation
11/15/2009 Order in-room dining, watch high-definition movies and learn more about the hotel and Manila’s nearby attractions — all with just a click of a button with Traders Hotel, Manila’s Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). The state-of-the-art IPTV project, hailed as the first of its kind in the bay area and now fully operational, allows guests to select from a user-friendly menu of hotel information, restaurant and bars, leisure and events. High definition movies, cable networks and other popular channels are also on offer. Personalized, digital messages by request and or courtesy of the hotel are also offered through the IPTV, making it convenient for large groups to set alarms and reminders or for family and friends to leave notes, among others. The Bill Display function’s easy-to-read presentation allows guests to check their transactions and expenses during their stay for better transparency and budget monitoring. In addition to the IPTV, Traders Hotel, Manila also provides complimentary Internet access among its guest rooms and Wi-Fi visibility in other public facilities such as its Latitude restaurant and the lobby area.
