C2 Green Tea, the country’s leading ready-to-drink tea brand, recently awarded the winners of the “Best about C2 Life: Music Video Making Contest” during an exciting evening of music and stunning visuals at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. The event treated music lovers to performances from the country’s leading musical artists including Imago, Pedicab, Kyla and Sinosikat. Another highlight was a showcase of the top music video finalists produced by creative young minds from around the country. From a myriad of music video entries featuring the Best About Life song by Sinosikat, Peter Ian Mancao of Cebu City and Angelo Agojo of Manila took home the grand prize of P150,000 and C2 products worth P20,000 with their entry entitled “Experience the C2 Life!”. Their captivating video showcased a youthful and vibrant montage of the best things in life, from sharing warm moments with buddies, meeting new friends, to appreciating life’s simple wonders. For Peter, successfully translating the best that life has to offer through a music video meant tapping into his creative side and presenting a life lived to the fullest. “The best things in life are simply about the goodness that we feel and the life we create, from the unforgettable moments we enjoy to the simple pleasures we share with those around us,” he said. Ray Niño Mercado from Cagayan de Oro came in second place with his music video entry and bagged P100,000 cash prize and P10,000 worth of C2 products. His dynamic music video showcased exciting scenes of friends reveling in the outdoor wonders of their picturesque hometown. Rounding up the top three winners is Shobert Hallig of Manila with his entry called “Share love. Share C2.” Featuring a ballad version of the Best About Life song, his inspiring music video highlighted the spirit of sharing and giving others the gift of enjoying the little pleasures in life.
