MFI accepts scholarship applicants

The MFI Technological Institute is now accepting applicants for the three-year Industrial Technician Program (ITP).

A total of 150 high school graduates who will pass the competitive admission test, interview and the two-week orientation classes, will be admitted this coming June.

The scholarship is open to Filipino citizens 16 to 22 years old who cannot afford college education.

Applicants for full scholarship must come from a family with an annual income of not more than P150,000.

Full scholarship benefits include: 100-percent free tuition, uniforms and calculator.

Technical courses offered include electrical, electronics, instrumentation, tool and die and the two-year IT.

Application forms may be obtained from the Registrar’s office at the MFI Building (beside the Medical City Hospital) along Ortigas Avenue in Pasig.

Requirements from applicants: two (2” x 2”) ID photos, recommendation letters from school principal and guidance counselor; photocopy of secondary report card (and for graduating students – photocopy of report card filled up to second grading period), income tax return of parents or certificate of tax exemption from the BIR; an application fee of P100 payable upon submission of duly accomplished application form.
