Samba storms men’s mag show
07/27/2008 Gorgeous models in sexy Brazilian outfit took centerstage at this year’s big party of men’s magazine FHM held last July 17 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. These 12 models, collectively known as the Samba girls, flaunted their charm in a high-temperature spectacle of beauties during the FHM magazines’ much-talked walk-off and musical show featuring some of the country’s sexiest women including Marian Rivera who reigned FHM’s top model of 2008. Chosen among the best in the modeling scene, the Samba girls represent the unique savory taste of Samba Brazilian corned beef, a viand that suits the fast-paced lifestyle of the urban cosmopolitans. Not to be outdone, the Samba girls seduced the crowd into tasting the Samba Brazilian corned beef, which built its own display booth for the much-awaited event. The Samba booth itself got its own spotlight from the main show, as the Samba girls dabbled in activities – including free tasting of the product by way of body shot, free massage and endless photo ops with guests meant to add spice to the FHM party. Jon Bendicion, the man behind the successful introduction of Samba in the Philippines, said the product is a high-quality corned beef made of ground, tender and real Brazilian beef intended for young cosmo market - or those who live independently and do not have the luxury of time to prepare full meals.
