Navasero holds advanced photography workshop

Mandy Navasero will hold weekend Advanced Photography Workshop for seven weeks starting Aug. 16. Classes will be held every Saturday until Sept. 27, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Topics to be taken up are Portraiture, Fashion, Product Photography, Architectural, Travel, Photojournalism and Food Photography. In Mandy’s workshop, you learn by doing, as you will be placed in practical working situations and provided with organized instruction materials covering aspects of photography which will enable you to develop a high degree of competence and creative ability as a beginner.

Lecture and demonstration will be given to participants so they will have a complete knowledge of each topic. A separate lecture on the command of tools and technique such as shooting with a digital camera will be discussed.

Travel photography, which is open to the public, is a photo safari from Oct. 8-17, 2008, in Rome (visit St. Peter Basilica, Sistine Chapel, Venezia, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Assisi, Perugia, among others); Florence (Florence Cathedral, among others) and Tuscany. Tie up made with Martina Piccini at their Le Rocche di Valiano, situated in the heart of Chianti Classico.

Participants will experience vineyard harvest and fun treading grapes. Nice Travel maps destinations in Rome and Florence. Ten days Photo Safari Under the Tuscan Sky, inclusive of RT airfare via KLM, a wine queen for a tour guide, Tita Trillo of Titania’s Wine Cellars, bus transfers, destinations, hotel accommodations, and three meals daily, at $6,000. Lectures in the Photo Safari under the Tuscan Sky is daily. Mandy is a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in California, where she completed her BA in Professional Photography major in Illustration and Advertising.
