BPInoy Life Series benefits OFWs
07/20/2008 The Bank of the Philippine Islands’ successful branding for the overseas Filipino market, BPInoy, is holding its 33rd and 34th Learning Series for the OFWs and beneficiary families in Iloilo City and Laoag City, respectively this year. Parallel with its mall events, the BPInoy Life series focuses on BPI’s program of value formation for Filipinos working abroad and their families in the Philippines. BPI long-time celebrity endorser for Global Remittances, Erik Santos, joins the BPI team in its nationwide series of BPInoy events. In the BPInoy Life Series, renowned speakers tackle issues on how to improve the OFW families’ quality of life, like keeping healthy long-distance relationships and raising happy and successful children. To date, Pinoy Big Brother resident psychologist Dr. Randy Dellosa and well-respected family life guru Dr. Louren Dacanay have facilitated live discussions for this series. The Learning Series is a socio-educational forum where direct contact or interaction transpires between the bank and the expat Pinoy. It gathers together the bank’s program proponents, branch managers and OF clients and beneficiaries, as well as representatives from manning agencies, PDOS Centers, NGOs and related-government agencies. In these Learning series, participants are also taught to save and handle their finances and start their own small businesses. Both the BPInoy Life Series and BPInoy Life Discovery Series are highlighted with the BPInoy Learning Program. Back to top
