Bargain hunters, shoppers at pre-Xmas fair

10/21/2007

The much-awaited 14th Philippine Toys, Gifts, Housewares and Christmas Decors Fair is expected to be crowded by bargain hunters and shoppers especially Christmas gifts buyers because it offers assorted products and goods to be showcased by more than 1,500 exhibitors. The 24-day trade fair which started last week is being organized by the Prime Asia Trade Planners and Convention Organizers (Patepco).

Henry Babiera, Patepco president, said this early, Christmas shoppers can start looking for gifts when prices of goods are much cheaper and the crowd is lesser.

Shoppers can find in the pre-Christmas exhibit toys, Christmas decors, furniture and furnishings, jars/porcelains and potteries, also Oriental modern furniture and furnishing, arts and crafts, painting, religious icons, electronics and accessories, precious and semiprecious jewelry, loose gemstones and pearls, novelty items and corporate giveaways, artificial flower, plants and animals, leathergoods, sporting goods and accessories, RTW and garments, cellular phones and accessories.

Manufacturers, dealers, suppliers, importers/exporters, distributors and other traders can coordinate with Ariel Villanueva, overall coordinator, or project coordinators, Ai-Ai Babiera, Albert Castro, Celina Umali, Agot Artista, Eugene Paguio and Aileen Tulagan, Alma Miraflor and Renz Solop at Blue Means Building, 707 Urdija St., Barangay Village, Sucat Road, Parañaque City, tel. nos. 820-3862, 826-8162, 826-6732 and 829-3195.

Babiera said Greenhills is a favorite shopping mall of buyers from Metro Manila and nearby provinces, adding they prefer Greenhills because it is accessible, has many retails shops, two state-of-the-art moviehouses, wide parking spaces and courteous security guards.

Greenhills, a shopping mecca and cellphone center, is the place where one can shop, dine play, see movies and concerts, compete in chess and scrabble, or just while time. It is the place for lovers, families, groups, students and professionals and even small-time entrepreneurs.
