When Andal Ampatuan Jr., the prime suspect in the Maguindanao massacre wore an orange band, the yellow media were quick to spot that and portrayed it negatively as an Ampatuan endorsement of the Nacionalista bet, Manny Villar, and just as quickly featured a comment made by Esmael Mangudadatu that Villar’s wife had met with Andal Sr. in Davao seeking the Ampatuan’s endorsement.

Even more quickly, there went Noynoy Aquino and his spokesman, Edwin Lacierda, tying up the Ampatuan endorsement of Villar his being Gloria Arroyo’s secret anointed.

But a few days later, there went Andal Jr., at a press conference in jail, wearing a yellow shirt and yellow band, stating that the Ampatuan family had made a decision to endorse and support the candidacy of Noynoy Aquino.

Immediately, the yellow media churned out the report that the endorsement of the Ampatuans of Noynoy Aquino was a farce and a big joke.

Then came the yellow media’s coverage of Aquino with Lacierda, quickly saying that this display by Andal Jr. is the handwork of the Nacionalista Party (NP)’s black propaganda and that they were rejecting the endorsement of the Ampatuans.

See how biased the yellow media are?

If the yellow media were fair, they would have treated the same Andal Jr.’s first endorsement of the NP bet as a joke, as they did in the case of Andal Jr.’s endorsement of Noynoy. Yet the same yellow media made it out as if the first endorsement was no joke, and spiced it up with the reported visit of Villar’s wife to Andal Sr.

And the yellow media claim that they are fair and do not take sides?

But see too, how the LP accuses its rival, the NP, without substantiating its charges. And how, when charges are hurled against the LP by the NP, all that Aquino and his defenders do is to merely deny it. But don’t both Noynoy and Villar have links with Gloria?

There is the Hacienda Luisita scam and massacre that Noynoy to this day, has not responded to. Neither has he answered the issue of the overpriced and diverted SCTex and the gift of the Arroyo government to the Cojuangco-Aquinos — paid for by the taxpayers — of a private interchange leading to the hacienda. Nor, for that matter, has Noynoy come clean over the graft committed by him when he put up the BSA security agency, using his mother’s position and influence to gain government contracts.

Then there is that psychological report that showed Noynoy to be not quite mentally and emotionally stable, which, even when clearly bogus, does reveal the same problematic characteristics and behavior that have been displayed by Noynoy himself.

He has never answered the question of whether he smoked marijuana, which is said to be a cure of sorts for autism.

He has never even responded to the very valid issue of Kamag-Anak Inc., and the many former allies of Gloria Arroyo who now form his core group, yet Noynoy and his supporters claim that they will bring about change. How, when he is surrounded by the very same people who surrounded Gloria and her administration? The Firm’s lawyers, who were Gloria’s lawyers, are with him today. The cronies of Gloria are the ones funding Ninoy’s campaign. The same officials of Gloria are now with Noynoy and will no doubt be in his Cabinet, if he ever wins the presidency. It will be the same faces, the same policies, the same graft and corruption. The same constitutional violators that will be in power and position. Change with Noynoy and his team? Don’t bet on it!

To this day, there is hardly any valid charge leveled against Noynoy that has been answered. All charges are met with mere denials, including charges of being behind the black propaganda being publicized. But then again, both camps — LP and NP — have engaged in black propaganda against each other. One is merely a pot calling the kettle black.

About the only presidential candidate who does not engage in black propaganda is Erap Estrada, which really makes him a better man.

And the masses know this better than the frigging elite.
