With the upcoming Panagbenga Flower Festival this weekend, PLDT is set to bring Baguio City to the world by providing unlimited high-speed wifi access for free to festival goers from Feb. 24 to 26.
WiFi Zones powered by PLDT will provide Baguio City’s famous Session Road with multiple WiFi access points scattered from the PLDT Baguio Business Office to Harrison Street in front of Burnham Park for the famous floral floats parade.
John Marasigan, PLDT Baguio Customer Service Zone head, said they hope to enrich the Panagbenga experience by allowing people to immediately post and share their experiences online to their loved ones here and abroad.
“For now, those who want to use and try out the service just need to get their access PINs from manned PLDT booths in several areas in Session Road,” he said.
Other areas in Baguio that will become active PLDT Wifi Zones during the Panagbenga Festival include the PLDT Business Office, Athletic Bowl near Burnham Park, Police Sub-station, Baguio City Tourism Office, SSS Building, Red Cross Building, Tiongson Harrison, Lopez Building and Porta Vaga.
