UE joins 21st career fair
09/16/2009 The University of the East (UE) will participate for the fourth consecutive year in the 21st Career Counseling and Guidance Fair on Sept. 17 and 18; organized by the International Education Specialists, this year’s fair venue is the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. UE is the most sought-after university in Manila’s U-Belt, providing the world with topnotch graduates in computer science, information technology, computer technology, business administration, dentistry, accountancy, nursing, medicine, physical therapy, law, engineering, fine arts, architecture, industrial design, tourism management, HRM, entrepreneurship, post graduate studies, accounting technology, arts and sciences and education. UE’s booth will feature career counseling, games with exciting prizes and computerized registration. Give-aways will also be distributed to visitors of the booth. UE’s participation in the fair precedes the UE’s 63rd Foundation Anniversary celebrations scheduled from Sept. 20 to 26 with the theme "Remembe ring, Celebrating, Envisioning." The UE anniversary celebration will kick off with a Fun Run on Sunday, Sept. 20 at the CCP Complex. The highlights of the anniversary celebration are the UE service awards, the Sept. 26 Grand Concert of International Icon and UE alumna-achiever Imelda Papin with the internationally renowned UE Chorale.
