Where to put cellphone junk
09/16/2009 SM launched Sept. 14 its cellphone waste and collection program which highlighted the setting up of Nokia trash bins in all 36 SM Malls nationwide. This program is in partnership with the National Solid Waste Management Commission and Nokia. This project is a continuation of SM Prime Holding’s earlier efforts toward green transformation. As early as 2007, it started a program to educate cellphone users to properly dispose of electronic wastes which are hazardous to the environment.
