China’s Tiens Group eyes raising RP millionaires
06/16/2009 Tiens Group of Companies, one of the biggest in China, has built a business empire from traditional Chinese medicine and had shown the world that it has perfected the union of health and wealth. In its First International Conference and Awarding Ceremonies in the Philippines held last May 30 at the SMX Mall Asia, Tiens president Dr. Li Jin Yuan, tagged the “legendary millionaire” and the 32nd richest man in China, awarded their top two Filipino distributors dealers with top of the line BMW cars. Other top Tiens distributors in the Asian region were awarded yachts, villas and private jets. Dr. Li is confident that in next year’s Philippine convention, more dealers will become millionaires and that more Filipinos will discover the Tiens road to health and wealth. The Filipino awardees, Dr. Hector de la Cruz and housewife, Rhodora Cleto, received the keys to their BMW luxury cars amid the cheers of the thousands of Tiens dealers in the Philippines who are all raring and racing to reach their first millions. “The fact that Dr. De la Cruz, who specializes in internal medicine, is one of the awardees and the top Filipino distributor is a testament to the efficacy of our products,” Tiens Philippines general manager Adam Huang said. The other awardee, Cleto, is a mother of four, who used to sell seashells in their province until she stumbled on the wonderful opportunity that Tiens offers. De la Cruz explained he was introduced to Tiens in 2001 when he observed how traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) was done. Fascinated with the new learning, he integrated the TCM concept into the western medicine that he is most familiar with. Thus, it was no surprise that he was drawn to the Tiens products naturally knowing that the product line-up of the said company is borne of TCM complemented with years of intensive research. Dr. Li founded the Tiens Group of Companies in 1993 and has since become one of the leading health, wellness and beauty companies in the world. Tiens brings TCM to a whole new level with their state-of-the art biotechnology laboratories. Tiens has presence in 261 countries with branch offices in 110 countries. Tiens came to the Philippines in 2001 and has shown a dramatic growth in its product sales. Apart from their health and wellness products, Tiens also unveiled its beauty and cosmetics lineup, Vie Nature, which also promotes healthy skin. Tiens has tapped renowned skin care specialist, Dra. Grace Carole Beltran, as their marketing director for the Vie Nature line. “Tiens keeps innovating so the company could sustain its growth. And as the company keeps on growing, we create more millionaires,” Dr. Li said in an interview. Back to top
